Updated: Aug 22, 2021

The final chapter of the popular manga, We Never Learn: Bokuben released chapter 187 of the manga today and with it, the series has come to an end. A few weeks ago, the manga creator, Taishi Tsutsui had teased the finale of the manga as he finished the parallel story arc where all the girls got their time in the spotlight.

Tsutsui launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine of February 6, 2017. The series "Ephemeral Mermaid Princess" arc finished in Weekly Shōnen Jump on March 9, 2020. It was followed by the series' last arc, the "Parallel Story" arc, featuring Nariyuki having endings with other characters in the series, which started in Weekly Shōnen Jump on March 16, 2020. The manga's 20th volume will ship on January 4, and the 21st and final volume will ship on March 4.

Viz Media publishes the manga in English, and it describes the story as:

"Nariyuki Yuiga comes from an impoverished family, so he's eager to secure a full scholarship to college when he graduates high school. His principal agrees, with one stipulation—he must tutor the two smartest girls at the school and make sure they get into their target colleges! Rizu is a science genius who wants to study liberal arts. Fumino is effortlessly good at literature, but math makes her head spin. Nariyuki is stuck between a rock and a hard place, but who can complain about tutoring a couple of cute girls?"

The TV anime adaptation of the manga was also released. The first season aired from April 7 to June 30, 2019, with 13-episodes. The second season aired from October 6 to December 29, 2019, with 13-episodes.
