VTuber Kusunoki Sio Announces Hiatus Due to Harassment

Kusunoki Sio, popular VTuber (Virtual YouTuber) announced that she is taking a break from online activities because of online harassment. Kusunoki revealed that some people have tried to hack her social media accounts, attempt to access her private information and unethically send emails with pictures identifying her real-life persona. Sio is an independent VTuber, who debuted on YouTube in December 2019. She specializes in Mahjong.


4K Akira Will Have Cinema Release in the U.K, Ireland

Katsuhiro Otomo's popular anime movie Akira is getting a 4K theatrical release in U.K and Ireland for a limited time. Manga Entertainment official YouTube channel Manga UK released a promotional video announcing the news on 28th August on its YouTube Channel. The release date for the film is not yet revealed.



Noblesse Anime Unveils Teaser, Theme Song Artists

The official Japanese Twitter account of upcoming anime Noblesse released a 70-sec trailer of the Japanese version of the film on Friday, 28th August. Noblesse anime is based on Jeho Son and Kwangsu Lee's popular manhwa of the same name. I.G production and Crunchyroll are producing the anime.

Japan Foundation to Stream New Delhi Leg of Japanese Film Festival on Vimeo

The official Facebook page of Japan Foundation for the Japanese Film Festival (JFF), New Delhi announced on Wednesday that they had decided to launch the film screening on the streaming platform, Vimeo due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions. The film screening is free for everyone. One film will stream for one weekend each month and will be available for free. They have yet to announce the titles and streaming dates of the films.


Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire Film Gets Manga in September

Detective Conan: Fist of Blue Sapphire anime movie is getting a manga adaptation by Yutake Abe and Jiro Maruden. Shonen Sunday S magazine revealed the news in its October issue. The manga will release in the magazine's upcoming issue releasing on 25th September.
