Teaser & Trailer Of The New Pokémon Film, Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari Revealed

A new teaser and trailer of upcoming Pokémon film 'Gekijōban Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari' (Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story) is released on the official website for the Pokémon film on 26th of July.

The teaser introduces new characters from the film such as Risa, Kagachi, Torito, Hisui and Raruga. While the trailer subtly gives a little more hint about the characteristics and the nature of the new characters.

The website also unveiled a new Key Visual for the film with the tagline "Even what I can't do alone, as long as I'm with you...". The film's story is set during the annual Wind Festival at Frau City, which is blessed with wind from the Legendary Pokémon Lugia.

The cast of the film includes Shinichiro Miki as Kojiro, Inuko Inuyama as Nyarth, Rica Matsumoto as Satoshi, Ikue Ōtani as Satoshi's Pikachu and Megumi Hayashibara as Musashi. Popular voice actor Unshō Ishizuka has given narration for the film.

The film is directed by Tetsuo Yajima (assistant director of the previous Pokémon movie Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!) and produced by Wit Studio (Producer of Attack on Titan) along with the franchise's mainstay studio Oriental Light and Magic.

Kunihiko Yuyama, who has previously directed several Pokémon films. Shizue Kaneko (If Her Flag Breaks, Pan de Peace!) has designed the characters for the film. Scriptwiter of 'Beelzebub', Eiji Umehara along with Aya Takaha have wirtten the script, while the director of Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, Kunihiko Yuyama has returned as the animation supervisor for the film.


The film is set to release on 13th of July in Japan.
