Official Teaser OF The Promised Neverland Live Action Movie Out!

The official website of The Promised Neverland Movie and the Toho movie official YouTube channel released a 30-second teaser for its live-action movie on 6th August 2020. The movie is based on Kaiu Shirai's Japanese manga of the same name. Posuka Demizu illustrated the manga, and Weekly Shōnen Jump serialized it between August 2016 to June 2020.

The teaser opens with the montage of happy children from the orphanage living a lavish and peaceful life. Soon the soothing music of piano turns into a ticking clock, after which follows the montage revealing the dark side of the orphanage. The lead characters try to survive and escape from the so-called paradise.

The website also released an official poster for the movie. The poster shows children happily smiling and playing at paradise, unaware of their heartbreaking fate. The poster also shows the numbers assigned instead of their names.

The Promised Neverland Live Action Movie Official Poster

The live-action adaption The Promised Neverland is set to release on 18th December 2020. Yūichirō Hirakawa is directing the movie, while Noriko Gotou is writing the film's script.

The cast of the film is as follows: Minami Hamabe as Emma Jyo Kairi as Ray Rihito Itagaki as Norman Keiko Kitagawa as Isabella Naomi Watanabe as Krone

CloverWorks studio adapted an anime television series of the manga. Noitamina telecasted the anime from January to March 2019. A second season for the anime is announced to premiere in January 2021. The manga is also getting an English live-action series adaptation by Amazon Studios and Fox 21 Television Studios.
