REVEALED: Taboo Tattoo Manga Ends In June!

On going Japanese action adventure seinen manga, Taboo Tattoo will end in the August issue of Monthly Comic Alive magazine on 27th of June. Mangaka Shinjirō announced the news on Twitter on Wednesday. The 12th compiled book volume of the manga had earlier revealed that the 13th volume will be the last one.


Taboo Tattoo manga was launched by Media Factory in Monthly Comic Alive magazine in November 2009. The manga is licensed for release in English by Yen Press.


The manga inspired a 12-episode anime adaptation that premiered in July and ended in September. Takashi Watanabe directed the series at J.C. Staff. The anime series is rated 6.1/10 on IMDb.


Taboo Tattoo Anime Plot: After saving a homeless man from some thugs, Seigi receives a strange tattoo from the man as a gift. This act leads to a series of events that will pull Seigi into the middle of a conflict between a special U.S. Army unit and the Kingdom of Selinistan, as both are scrambling to collect powerful "spell crests" called Power Crests, weaponized ancient artifacts of great power which can shift the balance of power in the world.
