Super Sugoii Claims Hotel Ramada Wrongfully Used Their Brand Name To Promote Their Cosplay Event!

According to the recent post from Super Sugoii's official Instagram page, a hotel named “Ramada Plaza” from Bengaluru, which is organizing a cosplay event named “Ramada Plaza Cosplay Cakewalk” illegitimately used Super Sugoii's brand name to promote their event. Super Sugoii claims that they never supported them nor, were aware of the hotel using their name; And that Ramada Plaza promoted their event using Super Sugoii's name without their knowledge and consent. Super Sugoii also revealed in the post that, a person named Justin Leo, who works for the hotel, was mistreating female cosplayers.

Both Super Sugoii and us, Otaku in Town, are against what happened in Bengaluru's hotel Ramada. We feel Justin Leo should be brought to authorities. We support Super Sugoii in handling the issue. The founders of Super Sugoii, Rachita Saha and Hiroko Izumi took Instagram as the stage to expose the issue. The founders posted on their official Instagram page about the whole issue. They clarified that they are not associated with Ramada plaza and they have proofs of it. Further, they announced that they move closely and personally with every brand that they are associated with and warned every such brand like hotel Ramada Plaza. They are also extremely saddened to see cosplayers being mistreated and harassed. Finally, they thanked every supporter and friends for being with them.

To every person, we request you to treat artists with love and care. They spend hours of time and millions of efforts to entertain us. The least we could do for them is to treat them as human beings and not to harass them. Further, we stand with Super Sugoii in this issue. For more updates, stay tuned in Otaku In Town.
