Redo of Healer TV Anime Reveals 1st Promo Video, Visuals, Theme Song Artist For its January 2021 Rel

The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Rui Tsukiyo's Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi: Sokushi Mahō to Skill Copy no Chōetsu Heal (Redo of Healer) light novel series released the series first promotional video on Friday. The site also revealed a new visual, two more cast members, the show's opening and ending theme song artists, and the show's January premiere on AT-X and Tokyo MX.

The new cast includes Tetsu Inada as Brett and Mami Fujita as Blade. The opening theme song, "Zankoku na Yume to Nemure" (Dream a Cruel Dream), will be performed by Minami Kuribayashi, while the ending theme song, "Yume de Sekai wo Kaeru nara" (If You Can Change the World in a Dream), will be performed by Arcana Project.

The main anime casts includes, Yūya Hozumi as Keyarga, Ayano Shibuya as Freya, Shizuka Ishigami as Setsuna, Natsumi Takamori as Eve, Minami Tsuda as Norn, Natsuki Aikawa as Kureha.

The series is animated by TNK and directed by Takuya Asaoka (Kandagawa Jet Girls episode director), with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handling series composition(That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), Junji Goto(High School DxD) designing the characters, and Kenji Fujisawa(Baki, Baki-Dou) composing the music.

The series is a "revenge fantasy" story and the description is as follows:

"Healing magicians cannot fight alone.’ Keare, who was bound by this common knowledge, was exploited again and again by others. But one day, he noticed what lay beyond healing magic, and was convinced that a healing magician was the strongest class. However, by the time he realized that potential, he was deprived of everything. Thus, he used healing magic on the world itself to go back four years, deciding to redo everything. This is a heroic tale of one healing magician who became the strongest by using knowledge from his past life and healing magic."

Tsukiyo began serializing the ongoing story online in December 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Kadokawa Shoten, who have published six volumes since July 2017 under their Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Sōken Haga has been serialized online via Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace Up website since October 2017 and has been collected in four tankōbon volumes.
