Otakon to Host Attack on Titan Producer Tetsuya Kinoshita!

The 24th Otakon convention will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. from 11th August - 13th August this year. The staff of the Otakon convention recently revealed that it will host 'Welcome to the Ballroom' producer Tetsuya Kinoshita for the 2017 convention.
Tetsuya has worked for various other anime projects such as 'Ghoust Hound', 'Blade of the Immortal', 'Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings', 'Yuki Yuna Is a Hero', 'Etotama', 'Attack on Titan season 1 & 2', 'Battle Girls - Time Paradox' and 'From the New World'. Kinoshita has also contributed to 'Origin of O-ren' segment of Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill movie.
Apart from Tetsuya Kinoshita, the event will also host producers Masao Maruyama and Hideyuki Tomioka, Animation director Hidenori Matsubara, scriptwriter Katuyuki Sumizawa, directors Tomoki Kyoda and Ei Aoki, voice over artists Toshio Furukawa, Shino Kakinuma, and Shimba Tuschiya. Yousei Teikoku, JAM Project, Flow, and singer T.M. Revolution will all perform at Otakon as part of the convention's Anisong World Matsuri music festival event.
For the first time Otakon convention will be held in D.C. For the past 17 years the convention was hosted at Baltimore.
