Original Voice Actors Provide Newly Recorded Voices To Hunter X Hunter Real Life Game

The Tokyo based event planning company SCRAP has announced that newly recorded voices by the seven of the original cast members of the Anime Hunter X Hunter will be featured in Greed Island the amusement park, A new real escape game collaborated with the Hunter X Hunter anime.


The confirmed voice actors so far are:

  • Gon Freecss: Megumi Han

  • Killua Zoldyck: Mariya Ise

  • Kurapika: Miyuki Sawashiro

  • Hisoka: Daisuke Namikawa

  • Biscuit: Chisa Yokoyama

  • Razor: Takaya Kuroda

  • Genthru: Hiroyuki Yoshino

Their newly recorded voice will be featured in the game as well as each event occurring in the game. They released a few clips to tease fans. One such clip includes a conversation between Bisky and Kurapika however, they actually never met in anime.


The game will be held at Hirakata park located in Hirakata city, Osaka, from September 19 to November 29. It was initially planned to be held in Tokyo from July 23, but like many other great events, this park was also postponed due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

The game’s story takes place in Greed Island, a place from anime. Participants will be called hunters. Hunters challenge Greed Island fest while solving various mysteries and quests at the special booths and collecting the designated pocket cards. In addition to Gon and Killua, there are a variety of characters from the anime that will co-operate with hunters and help them in finishing the game which is supposed to be 120-180 mins long.


I wish I was born in Japan so that I could attend events like such. Even with fewer travel restrictions, many of us can't attend such events.
