One Punch Man Returns In September?

One Punch Man fans have been eagerly waiting for Saitama to return with the season 2. Though the season 2 isn't expected to be released for quite some time, the OPM team are coming up with something completely different in September. Yes! On Punch Man is returning but in a CD Drama format.

The OPM VCD Drama is set to be released on September 27th. The official Twitter and YouTube accounts of One Punch Man have recently released and shared a video with the new song of the new instalment. Check out the video below:

The cast for the CD drama remains the same as that of anime. The photograph of the entire cast was captured while they were working on the audio proect. Voice actor Makoto Furukawa will voice the character Saitama, Kaito Ishikawa will give voice for Genos, Yuki Kaji will provide voice for Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, Hiroki Yasumoto will play the character King, Masaya Onosaka will voice the character Puri-Puri Prisoner and Saori Hayami will give voice for Hellish Blizard.

The release date fir Season 2 of One Punch Man is not yet confirmed, though it is expected to release sometime in the next year. Season 2 will introduce the Villain Association and the Martial Arts tournament, where Saitama will try to test his skills against the Martial Artists from all over the world.

Manga creator ONE began One-Punch Man as a webcomic, which quickly went viral, garnering over 10 million hits. In addition to One-Punch Man, ONE writes and draws the series Mob Psycho 100 and Makai no Ossan.
