At the Virtual Crunchyroll Expo event on Sunday, Crunchyroll announced on a panel that the Noblesse anime will premiere on October 6, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. EDT. The streaming will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the CIS.
Jeho Son, the Noblesse author, in an interview, said, " "We recently completed Noblesse, which is a very special project to us. As of this year, it has taken us 11 long years to complete this project. When Lee Kwang Soo and I began work on Noblesse, we thought of the many dreams we wanted to accomplish together. One of the dreams was to have one of our works showcased as a TV animation, which came true. This was all thanks to our viewers, who showed love for Noblesse. I would like to thank Naver, Webtoon, and Production I.G for doing an amazing job on the animation. I hope the viewers find Noblesse exciting and enjoy watching it." Crunchyroll also streamed a 5-minute preview of the anime on Sunday.
The anime's cast includes Tarusuke Shingaki as Cadis Etrama di Raizel, Daisuke Hirakawa as Frankenstein, Kosuke Onishi as M-21, Ryōta Iwasaki as Yusuke Tashiro, Yōhei Hamada as Manabu Kase.
Yasutaka Yamamoto is directing the anime as a co-production between Crunchyroll and WEBTOON. Sayaka Harada is the series compositor, and Akiharu Ishii is handling character designs and chief animation supervision.
Kim Jae-joong will perform the anime's theme song "BREAKING DAWN." K-pop group OH MY GIRL will perform the ending theme song "Etoile."
WEBTOONS started publishing the manhwa in English in July 2014 and published the epilogue in January 2019. WEBTOONS also published a spinoff title Noblesse: Rai's Adventure in 2016. Crunchyroll previously announced that Jeho Son and Kwangsu Lee are "preparing another story and an extension."
