New York Comic Con To Host Fairy Tail Manga Author Hiro Mashima!

Kodansha Comics on Monday revealed that New York Comic Con will host popular mangaka Hiro Mashima.


Mashima gained popularity with his first manga series Rave, published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1999 to 2005. His recent ongoing manga series Fairy Tail has gained even greater popularity for him. Fairy Tail is an adventures manga set in Wizards guild. The manga has been serialised in Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2, 2006, and it has inspired two television anime, two anime films, several original video anime projects and spinoff manga.


Mashima is also an author of various one shot manga such as Mashima-en, Chameleon, Monster Hunter Orage, Nishikaze to Taiyou and Hoshigami no Satsuki.
