New York Times’ Graphic Bestseller List features My Hero Academia & Demon Slayer

The latest edition of New York Times’ monthly graphic books and manga bestsellers, which was released in early October, featured two volumes each of My Hero Academia, aka Boku No Hero Academia and Demon Slayer, aka Kimetsu No Yaiba. The list is a category of bestsellers column in the New York Times’ newspaper which was first published in October 2019.


The first two volumes of Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia ranked #6 and #8 respectively on the list, while, Koyohara Gotouge’s Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) had two entries with its first volume ranked #9 and its sixteenth volume was spotted at rank #12.

The New York Times’ Graphic Books and Manga Bestsellers category was first introduced by the newspaper back in October 2019, where it was released with the features of My hero Academia, Demon Slayer and Junji Ito’s Venus In The Blind Spot, all with their first volumes. The rankings secured by these three manga entrants were rank 7, 12 and 15 respectively.
