Netflix India to Release Marvel Anime: X-Men on December 16

Madhouse's anime adaptation of Marvel Comics' X-Men franchise is listed for December 16 release on Netflix India.

Netflix India describes the anime as:

"The X-Men are reunited and summoned to Japan where they confront the U-Men -- a cult that steals and harvests mutant organs to strengthen their army."

The first season of Marvel Anime: X-Men is comprised of 12-episodes and premiered in the U.S. in October 2011. The anime originally debuted in Japan in April 2011. In the series' English dub Matthew Porter plays Cyclops, and Steven Blum reprises his Wolverine role from the American series Wolverine and the X-Men and various video games. The Japanese Studio Madhouse produced all four Marvel Anime series.
