Netflix India to Release Marvel Anime: Wolverine on Decemeber 16

Madhouse's anime adaptation of Marvel Comics' Wolverine is listed for December 16 release on Netflix India.


Netflix India describes the anime as:

"Logan, aka mutant X-Man Wolverine, is on a quest to reclaim the love of his life -- whose crime lord father is planning an arranged marriage for her."

The story is loosely based on the graphic novel by Chris Claremont and Frank Miller and involves Logan trying to save his Japanese lover, Mariko, from her crime-lord father, Shingen. Logan teams up with a young assassin, Yukio. Milo Ventimiglia (Rocky Balboa) voices the titular character in the English dub.

The series based on the Marvel Comics character premiered in 2011.
