Dragon's Dogma anime series based on CAPCOM's RPG video game series is slated for its worldwide release on September 17 2020, exclusively on Netflix. Netflix India will stream the anime alongside its worldwide premiere.
The anime series is animated by Sublimation. Shin'ya Sugai is the director and producer, and Taiki Sakurai is the executive producer, with Capcom's Takashi Kitahara and Hiroyuki Kobayashi as co-producers. Kurasumi Sunayama is writing the scripts, and Iku Nishimura designing the characters. The anime is listed for seven episodes.
Netflix India explains the story as - "Resurrected as an Arisen, Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart. But with every demon he battles, his humanity slips further away."
Dragon's Dogma is an RPG video game developed and published by Capcom for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. An enhanced version titled Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen was released for the game's original consoles in April 2013. It was later ported to Microsoft Windows in 2016, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017 and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
