Japanese Anime’s Prowess Is Evident In List Of 100 Influential Animation Sequences

Vulture featured a list of Top 100 sequences that shaped the world of animation. The list was formulated only after the assimilation of thoughts and views of various experts and film analysts from different cinematic provinces.

The list featured the likes of films like Pantomimes Lumineuses by Charles-Émile Reynaud and Akira by Katsuhiro Otomo to some of the groundbreaking series like Dragon Ball Z and Batman: The Animated Series.

Several experts have given their words and entries into making up of this list, experts with historical comprehensiveness of the animation industry. The member of experts panel included names of Jerry Beck, Amelia Cook, Jason DeMarco, Maureen Furniss, Monique Henry-Hudson, Willow Catelyn Maclay, Linda Simensky, Koji Yamamura. The list featured 100 sequences from various animated pinnacles from the world of animation, including about 24 entries from Japan. It is to be mentioned, that list included only some specific sequences from the film/series and not the entirety of them, like the Super Saiyan sequence from Dragon Ball Z and the notorious nightclub sequence from Devilman Crybaby.
