INDIAN OTAKUS Can Now Create an Evangelion Playlist and Win Luxury Prizes!

To commemorate the release of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time film, the release of the song One Last Kiss, and the worldwide digital release, participants stands a chance of winning luxury prizes by creating Evangelion playlist on music subscription services – Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and other services.
To enter, participants must create a playlist of 26 Evangelion related songs. Then, follow the official Evangelion Twitter account, and use the hashtag “#evaplaylist”. From there on, post the title and the URL of your playlist on Twitter (each tweet must contain one URL).
Participants are also asked to write their messages and thoughts about the movie currently in theatres, as well as the memories associated with these favourite songs. The messages sent will be posted on the official EVA-EXTRA app.
Luxury prizes will be awarded to the applicants by lottery!
The “Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition” film series started in 2007 with "EVANGELION: 1.0 YOU ARE (NOT)ALONE." followed by “EVANGELION: 2.0 YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE.” and “EVANGELION: 3.0 YOU CAN NOT) REDO” all becoming record hits at the box office.
The TV anime and each of the feature films have since continued to garner new fans and are very lucky to be popular among various generations along the way, and the newest and feature film finale is now in theatres in Japan from March 8, 2021.
The song “One Last Kiss” was long-awaited by the fans. Finally, it released as a theme song for the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time on the 10th of March. Fans who were a part of the advanced streaming of this song shared excited comments on YouTube like “THIS IS THE FIRST BEAUTIFUL THING WE HAVE GOT SO FAR FROM 2021.TOTALLY WORTH WAITING” and “Like Eva, Hikki has come a long way and into the hearts and lives of many. Thank you for the wonderful music and I pray for more good years ahead :)”
The music video has received rave reviews from fans of both Hikaru Utada and Evangelion and has already garnered over 5,129,951 views in just two days since its premiere.
With the huge amount of requests from overseas, the release of the International edition vinyl of ‘One Last Kiss’ was announced. The album cover is different from the Japanese edition and the cover features Asuka. This vinyl is planned to be released in the summer of 2021.
