A good news for High School DxD fans! High School DxD Hero, which is the fourth season of popular anime High School DxD based on the Japanese light novel series of the same name, written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero will premiere in April. The official website for the anime announced the news on Saturday. The site also released the character design for the lead characters Issei and Rias. The season covers the second half of the The Heroic Oppai Dragon arc of the Light Novel.
The season 4 is directed by Yoshifumi Sueda, while Kenji Konuta is handling the series composition. Makoto Uno is designing the character for the upcoming season. The season is produced by Passione. The production of the new season was announced on October 22, 2016. Previously released all the three series were directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa at TNK.
High School DxD began serialization in Fujimi Shobo’s Dragon Magazine in its September 2008 issue. The first volume was released on September 20, 2008. A manga adaptation by Hiroji Mishima began serialization in the July 2010 issue of Dragon Magazine and later in the March 2011 issue of Monthly Dragon Age.
