EXCLUSIVE: Docomo's dTV streaming service Released Gintama Live-Action Net Series' Trailer!

Docomo's dTV streaming service released a trailer for Ginatama -Mitsuaba-hen, the live action net show on Wednesday. The trailer revealed the show's theme song "UNDECIDED" by UVERworld, which was also used for the live-action film.


Gintama net show will adapt the "Mitsuba Arc" of Hideaki Sorachi's original manga. The series will focus on the crazy relationship between Sougo and Hijikata, and the tragic love between Mitsuba and Hijikata.The show consists of 3 episodes which will be launched at the same time on 15th July midnight.


The series will have the same cast and staff as the live-action film, which opens in Japan on July 14. Yūichi Fukuda (live-action HK/Hentai Kamen, Mr. Nietzsche in the Convenience Store) is writing the script as well as directing the film.

Gintama, is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi and serialized, beginning on December 8, 2003, in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump. It continues to be ranked among the top-selling manga in Japan. Shueisha published the manga's 68th volume in Japan on April 4. The manga entered its final arc last July.
