As the popular PUBG game went on the ban list along with several China-related apps by the Indian Government, a new multiplayer action game is being developed by Bengaluru-based nCore games to satiate the disappointed PUBG gaming community in India.
Bollywood superstar, Akshay Kumar announced it on his twitter handle today saying, "Supporting PM @narendramodi’s AtmaNirbhar movement, proud to present an action game, Fearless And United-Guards, FAU-G. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. 20% of the net revenue generated will be donated to @BharatKeVeer Trust #FAUG."
The Founder and Chairman of developers of FAU-G, Vishal Gondal said, "It is a matter of great pride to respond to PM Modi’s call and present the world a world-class game, which will not only help gamers in a virtual setting fight the forces of evil; but also positively contribute to nation-building by supporting our martyrs.”
The media reported that the multi-player game will be based on scenarios encountered by the Indian defence forces. The game is likely to launch at the end of October with its first-level set in the backdrop of Galwan Valley. The FAU-G game would be available on the official Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store. It is also unclear whether the game will be limited to mobile devices or if it will also get a PC version.
While not much is known about the game, it is expected to be similar to the first-person shooter game like PUBG.
