'Evangelion' X 'Tokyo Skytree' to Hold a Huge Collaboration Event From December 23

A new visual was released on Monday on Evangelion's official website showing Evangelion's Unit 01 alongside the tallest landmark in Japan, the Tokyo Skytree. The visual was released alongside the announcement that the landmark will be holding a collaboration event where visitors will be able to take pictures with their favourite characters at one of the highest point in Japan, the Tembo Deck which is 450 meters above the ground.
It will be held from December 23, 2020, to March 31, 2021.
The event is for the upcoming Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time anime film, which finally announced its release date of January 23, 2021.
The event will also include exclusive merchandise that will be on sale, with the Skytree Cafe serving original Evangelion-based menu. Tokyo Skytree itself will be lit up in colours from the Evangelion films.
