Doraemon The Movie: Underwater Adventure to Air on Disney Channel India on September 19

The 1983 anime film, Doraemon the Movie: Underwater Movie will air on Disney Channel India on September 19 at 9:15 a.m. IST.
The movie is the fourth Doraemon film and it first premiered in Japan on March 12, 1983. It is based on the Western myth of Atlantis, the lost city.
The story follows Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian and Suneo as they decide where to spend their three days of summer vacation, and Doraemon suggests the gang to go on an underwater adventure. While exploring the ocean, they end up discovering a civilization that has been avoiding contact with the surface nations for several thousand years.
The film was directed by Tsutomu Shibayama, and the script was written by the original creators, Fujiko F. Fujio and Motoo Abiko.
