The final volume of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series went on sale on Friday and to celebrate, full-page advertisements were made in 5 national newspapers. It featured 15 main characters from the series. All 15 characters can be collected by obtaining the five newspapers.

The December 3, evening editions of Mainichi, Sankei, Yomiuri, Asahi, and Nikkei had a full-page advertisement for the release of volume 23 the next day. The same newspapers than advertised for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba in their morning editions.

Social networking sites are overflowing with comments from fans -- such as, "I've collected all the newspaper advertisements, and it's a masterpiece," "I got the morning edition with my favourite character!!" and, "Let me put this in a frame and save it."

In the Mainichi, the headline read, "This night will end, but the feelings will never perish. Kimetsu no Yaiba tops 100 million copies." It included illustrations of characters Giyu Tomioka, Shinobu Kocho and Tengen Uzui. One page was dedicated to each character. The characters respectively delivered the messages, "I won't let my family or friends die in front of me ever again," "I'm sure you can do it," and, "Don't be ashamed, those alive are the winners."

In the Dec. 3 evening edition of the five newspapers, an advertisement announcing the sale of the final edition introduced quotes from popular character Kagaya Ubuyashiki -- "Something that lasts forever is people's feelings. People's feelings are what lasts forever, and will never perish."

The final volume of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba featured extra pages for the final chapter that wasn't in the magazine version of the chapter – but aren't an extension of the chapter, along with 25 bonus pages, including a relationship chart.
