Deadpool: Samurai Manga to Release on Shonen Jump+ on December 10

Deadpool will be getting a new manga in a collaborative effort between Marvel and Shueisha for Shonen Jump! Shueisha and Marvel Comics announced at the Tokyo Comic Con 2020 online event on Saturday that Sanshirō Kasama (Writer) and Hikaru Uesugi (Illustrator) will launch the Deadpool: Samurai manga on the Shonen Jump+ app and website on December 10, 2020.

Kasama and Uesugi previously published a one-shot of Deadpool: Samurai manga on Shonen Jump+ in October 2019 as part of a collaboration between Shueisha and Marvel Comics.

The one-shot was a take on the Marvel anti-hero that saw him reflect on the fact that he was suddenly inside of a manga within Shonen Jump and acted accordingly in his new setting.
