Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Poster from High School of The Dead Creator

Gamers around the world are excited as ever to test out the much-awaited Cyberpunk game which releases on 10th December 2020. The title promises to be one of the big releases on the next-generation consoles. To celebrate the occasion, Shoji Sato, the creator of "High School of the Dead" manga released a special poster for Cyberpunk 2077.

Sato released the promotional poster, showcasing an avatar created by him, exploring the game's world. The poster also seems to pay homage to the anime film, Akira, as the character is seen leaning against the film's iconic red motorbike.

Sato is most commonly known for his erotic artwork, the famous of which is "High School of the Dead" manga.

Cyberpunk 2077 has some easter eggs for anime fans already, as fans spotted nods to JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, Sailor Moon and Akira in the game's trailers.

Much of the cyberpunk aesthetic was born in Japan but it has been reported that the game will be heavily censored in Japan. The Japanese releasee will cover up nudity and cut out obscene references to male and female genitalia. The game will also feature censored gore to obscure severed limbs and exposed guts.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. The story takes place in 2077 at Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat. Actor Keanu Reeves has a starring role in the game.

The game will be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021.
