By The Grace Of The Gods 2nd PV Reveals Anime's October 4 Premiere

The By The Grace Of The Gods anime's official website released its second PV (promotional video) and announced its anime premiere on October 4, 2020. The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo on October 4 at 11:00 PM, and at the same time, it will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Abema in Japan. It will then air on BS Fuji on October 6 and on J: TV on October 7.

The cast includes Hiroki Yasumoto (Ryoma Takebayashi), Yuki Kuwahara (Eliaria), Daisuke Ono (Reinhart), Marika Kono (Maya), Motomu Kiyokawa (Gain), Kikuko Inoue (Lulutia), Makoto Koichi (Kufo), Makoto Furukawa (Tabuchi), Saori Hayami (Elise), Takehito Koyasu (Reinbach), Yuki Hirose (Welanna), Yuki Takada (Mizelia), Yui Fukuo (Celia) and Tetsu Inada (Wogan).

Takeyuki Yanase is directing the anime and Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is the story editor and screenwriter. Kaho Deguchi is the chief animation director and will also be designing the characters, with Ririnra credited with the original characters design. The animation production is by Maho Films. MindaRyn will perform the ending theme song "Blue Rose knows".


The story follows Ryoma Takebayashi, a lonely man who led a life filled with hardships until dying from an unfortunate accident during his sleep. In the afterlife, he is greeted by three Gods who grew fond of him and sent him to another world as a child, where he makes use of his innate knowledge and abilities.

The Manga is written by Roy and illustrated by Ranran. Roy began serializing the story on "Shosetsuka ni Naro" website in 2014. A new version of the story was launched before its ending and it is still ongoing.
