The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of the Bungo Stray Dogs franchise's official spin-off gag manga Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! released its 1st promotional video on Thursday. The video revealed and previewed the ending theme song, and also announced the anime's January 12, 2020 premiere date.
The anime's new ending song, "Namae wo Yobuyo" is performed by Yuto Uemura (voice of Atsushi Nakajima). The song is a cover version of the first ED theme for the original anime series performed by Luck Life. The anime will premiere on the Tokyo MX 1 channel, and also on BS11, MBS, and WOWOW.

Satonobu Kikuchi is directing the anime at BONES and Nomad. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is in charge of series scripts. Hiromi Daimi is designing the characters. Taku Iwasaki is returning from the main Bungo Stray Dogs anime to compose the music at Lantis.
Kanai Neko launched the manga in Kadokawa's Young Ace Up! manga website in December 2015.
The comedy spinoff manga based on Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa's Bungo Stray Dogs manga shows the manga's characters in SD form in comedic gag scenes.
The original Bungo Stray Dogs manga is written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa which has been serialized in the magazine Young Ace since 2012. The series follows the members of the "Armed Detective Agency" throughout their everyday lives. The show mainly focuses on the weretiger Atsushi Nakajima, who joins others gifted with supernatural powers to accomplish different tasks including running a business, solving mysteries, and carrying out missions assigned by the mafia.
The series was split into two halves: the first half, containing twelve episodes, premiered on 7 April 2016 and ended on 23 June 2016. he second half, also containing twelve episodes, premiered on 6 October 2016 and ended on 22 December 2016. The third season premiered from 12 April 2019 and ended on 28 June 2019, with 12-episodes.
An anime film, titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple, opened in Japan in March 2018. Crunchyroll began streaming the film in September 2018, and Funimation began streaming the film in June 2019.
