Bleach's Live-Action Film Teaser Revealed!

Teaser for the live-action film of popular manga 'Bleach' is out. The official website for the film released the teaser on Friday.


The teaser reveals Ichigo holding his Zanpakutō while defeating a Hollow. The live-action adaption will cover the 'Substitute Shinigami Arc', which is the first arc of the manga. The movie is planned to release next year.


The film is directed by Shinsuke Sato, who have previously directed live-action film Gantz and Gantz II: Perfect Answer and Obivion Island anime film. While Sōta Fukushi stars as protagonist Ichigo Kurosaki. Fukushi have earlier worked in live-action adaption of Strobe Edge's Ren Ichinose and live-action Kami-sama no Iu Toori's Shun Takahata.


Bleach is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by mangaka Tite Kubo. Bleach was first serialised in the Japanese manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump in August 2001. The manga ended in August 2016. The series has spawned a media franchise that includes an anime television series that was produced by Studio Pierrot from 2004 to 2012, two original video animations, four animated feature films, ten rock musicals, and numerous video games, as well as many types of Bleach-related merchandise.
