Bandai Just Made Fans' Wait For The Code Geass Anime Film Trilogy Much Sweeter!

The first anime movie of Code Geass trilogy 'Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Awakening Path)' will hit the cineamas on 21st October. The second part, 'Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Handō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Rebellion Path)' will follow sometime in February and the final part 'Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Ōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Imperial Path)' will release in May 2018. Along with the film the Premium Bandai website have one more surprise for fans.


The Premium Bandai website is offerring three cakes featuring film visuals of Lelouch and Suzaku. The cakes can be reserved on the webiste until 11:00 p.m. JST on September 21. Bandai will deliver the cakes in late October.


All three cakes are sponge cake with a middle layer of strawberry cream and peach pieces, and they are topped with dried strawberries and peaches. The cakes are approximately 11×15×5 cm (about 4.3 x 6 x 2 inches) in size and are priced at 2,970 yen, excluding tax or shipping and handling.


The images on the cakes are the same images as the recently revealed poster visuals for the films.

The first cake features a visual of Lelouch as Zero in the first film in the trilogy, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō. The second cake is printed with a visual of Suzaku Kururugi in the second film, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Handō. And the third cake features a visual of Lelouch as Emperor in the third film, Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Ōdō.


The upcoming anime film trilogy will recap all 50 episodes of both Code Geass anime series and feature new scenes and re-recorded lines by the original cast.
