MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Friday that it will stream the Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon (Hanyō no Yasha Hime) anime on October 3 at 3:30 p.m. IST. The episodes will be airing close to the Japan telecast every week.
Alongside India and Hong Kong, Ani-One will stream the anime in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Nepal, Macau, and Taiwan.
The anime is scheduled to premiere on October 3, 2020, in Japan on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV.
The anime is a sequel to the anime series Inuyasha, based on the original manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. It is the story of Towa Higurashi and Setsuna, Sesshomaru's daughters, and Moroha, Inuyasha and Kagome Higurashi's daughter.
The staffs from Inuyasha will return, with Katsuyuki Sumisawa in charge of the scripts, Yoshihito Hishinuma in charge of the anime character designs and Kaoru Wada composing the music. The male idol group SixTONES will perform the series' opening theme "New Era", while Uru will perform the series' ending theme "Break".
