Netflix recently revealed a teaser visual and four stills of its upcoming Netflix original Anime series Dragon's Dogma. The anime is based on CAPCOM's RPG video game series of the same name. Dragon's Dogma anime was announced by Netflix in March 2019. It is set to stream worldwide on 17th September 2020 exclusively on Netflix.
The anime is produced by Sublimation and David Production. It is directed by Shin'ya Sugai, written by Kurasumi Sunayama and character designing is done by Iku Nishimura. Taiki Sakurai from Netflix is the executive producer for the show, while CAPCOM's Hiroyuki Kobayashi and Takashi KItahara are the co-producers of the series.
Synopsis: Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart, but with every demon he battles, the more he loses his humanity.
Dragon's Dogma is an action role-playing hack and slash video game developed and published by CAPCOM for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. CAPCOM later released an enhanced version subtitled Dark Arisen for the game's original consoles in 2013, then later ported to Microsoft Windows in 2016, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017, and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
