Good news for Dr. Stone fans! The teaser preview for 2nd Season of Dr. Stone anime is out. The official website of the anime Dr. Stone uploaded the teaser of the new season named Dr. Stone: Stone Wars on 3rd July, 2020. Check it out!
As the title of the new season suggests, 2nd season will focus on the Stone Wars arc of the manga. Dr. Stone: Stone Wars will premiere in January 2021.
The website also revealed a 6 new key visual for the 2nd season. Check out the visuals below:
Dr. Stone anime is adapted from Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's popular manga of the same name. The manga is serealized in Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2017. The first season of Dr. Stone anime aired from July 5 to December 13, 2019 on Tokyo MX and other channels in Japan. Crunchyroll simultaneously streamed the season as it aired in Japan, while Funimation streamed a dub of the season.
Synopsis: One fateful day, all of humanity was petrified by a blinding flash of light. After several millennia, high schooler Taiju awakens and finds himself lost in a world of statues. However, he's not alone! His science-loving friend Senku's been up and running for a few months and he's got a grand plan in mind—to kickstart civilization with the power of science!
