Gundam NT Anime's Manga, Novel Adaptation Release Date Revealed!

New anime project for the Gundam franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative (Kidō Senshi Gundam NT) will be adapted in a manga and novel. The December issue of Kadokawa's Gundam Ace magazine broke the news on Friday.

Kōzō Ōmori (Mobile Suit Gundam 00 manga) is drawing the manga, which will be released in the magazine's next issue on 26th November along with the novel. The story deals with the past of three pivotal characters in the anime. Kiyoto Takeuchi (Appleseed: Ex Machina, Harlock: Space Pirate) is penning the novel.

For both the novel and manga projects, Harutoshi Fukui is credited with the story, and Hajime Yatate and Yoshiyuki Tomino are credited for the original work.

The anime will open on 30th November in Japan.

Shunichi Yoshizawa (Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt, Gundam: Reconguista in G episode director) is directing the anime at Sunrise Studio #1.
